The GEM Theatre, a not-for-profit community theatre, and the Mohawk Carpet Foundation are pleased to present its free Summer Movie Series. Thanks to the generosity of a grant through the Mohawk Carpet Foundation, the GEM Theatre is able to offer this series free to both children and adults. Doors open at 9:00 a.m. prior to the show. The concession stand will be open for these movies. There is a charge for those items. No outside food or drink is allowed.

Despite his family’s generations-old ban on music, young Miguel dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol Ernesto de la Cruz. Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead. After meeting a charming trickster named Héctor, the two new friends embark on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel’s family history.
