Photography 101

Photographer Keith McFarland brings a Photography 101 class to the Harris Arts Center. Interested participants will meet two consecutive Saturday mornings, October 13 and 20, from 10a.m. to noon for an introductory class designed to familiarize students with the camera, its operation and the “rules” of photography. After week one, learning photographers will complete their “homework” of putting their new skills to use before returning to class to wrap up their instruction. Keith McFarland is an experienced photographer who had the opportunity to display his photography in the galleries of the HAC last fall. Cost of the class is $40 for HAC members and $50 for non-members. Registration is required by Wednesday, October 10 and can be done by calling 706-629-2599 or in person at 212 S. Wall Street. A camera with full manual mode capabilities is required.
